Why anibrain XDI?

The latest and greatest technology is meaningless without inspired instruction. Anibrain XDI is located in Pune, and founded by Jesh Krishna Murthy one of India's leading VFX and Animation experts, who wants to create a new breed of digital artists by inspiring, creating passion and a hunger to excel.

Jesh began his career nearly two decades ago in the field of Animation & VFX having studied Animation in Canada. Since then he has worked at some of the leading companies globally including Toybox (Now Technicolor), Spin, and the Oscar winning studio, Jim Henson's Creature shop. In his long stint abroad Jesh has worked on numerous award winning features and commercial projects including Batman Begins, Tombraider, The Arrow, Existenz, Are we There Yet? and more.

Since his return to India 4 Years ago, Jesh founded Anibrain which in a short span of time has become India's leading VFX studio having delivered work on 35+ Hollywood features including Red Cliff, Death Race, Twilight, Invictus, Resident Evil amongst others. Jesh has also been a guest lecturer at the Vancouver Film School, LEAF (London Effects and Animation Festival), FMX, Stuttgart, Escape Studio's (London), Centennial College (London), Siggraph Asia.

Anibrain has achieved the Promax BDA (India) award for the best animation in a channel identity and a team of world class artists. anibrain was also awarded the Golden Lion for Lust Caution at the Venice Film festival in 2007.

Upon this pioneering ecosystem anibrain XDI has taken birth. The entire curriculum has been designed and developed by Jesh and the artists at anibrain. Their experience, innovations and rigors of delivering high end vfx work has been encapsulated into a very thorough course. Where imagination blends with practical reality, where passionate and committed students learn to realize, share and bring to life the visions in their hearts. We don’t teach tools. We are not interested in producing mere software operators. We teach skills to be a great VFX artist. We teach skills that will make you very employable and lay the foundations so some day you can aspire to reach great heights as a VFX artist. Essentially, we teach skills that would make you be wanted by all studios. 

Our system works as we have produced many artists through our internal training who have gone on to make a name for themselves and secure themselves a bright future. Our aim is to make you a very strong, focused and skilled entry level artist. You will learn these skills from very accomplished artists using a system that has allowed anibrain to produce some truly breathtaking and high quality work.
